Hey everyone! Anyone who tells you that their product “sells itself” is lying to you. The truth about building a business is there are two parts. First, build a great product (I know I know, I’m a genius). Second, make sure people find it. There are already millions of brilliant product creators here on Product Hunt taking care of step 1. I started Growth Hunt for step 2. Growth Hunt is a weekly newsletter where I create growth plans for early-stage startups and product builders. In my day job, I am Head of Growth for a venture studio. Every day, I come up with new ways to get our portfolio companies’ products into the hands of a few hundred early believers. I’ve done this with dozens of startups throughout my career, and while there are certainly common themes, each startup is a bit different and requires different approaches. One size fits all, fits nobody. That’s why Growth Hunt will be outlining specific strategies for specific products/businesses. It won’t be focused on high-level marketing principles (although some of those will certainly be sprinkled in).
