Hey everyone! I built Gorilla because I kept running into the same problem over and over again: I had ideas, I had motivation… but I had no real signal if anyone actually cared. So I did what most people do, I guessed. And most of the time, I was wrong. Gorilla came from this frustration. Instead of starting with the product, I wanted to start with the people. People already talking about a problem. People actively looking for solutions. Gorilla crawls public conversations (like Reddit and other communities) and surfaces real individuals who might actually need what you're building. The goal is simple: → help you find your first users → validate faster → stop building in the dark Right now it's still early and a bit raw, but that's intentional. I'm trying to shape it together with people who are also building and validating ideas. If you try it, I'd really love to hear: Did it help you find real users? Was the output actionable? How does your tool handle the same concept but when people word it differently?

e.g.
Person 1 - I want a tool to help me make sense of everything happening during my work day (wide range of interpretations)

Person 2 - I want a tool that takes my Apple notes and organizes them for me for my agents

One is a subset of another.

I'm curious how precise a) the prompt/query from the user in Gorilla has to be and b) how Gorilla handles the vague content out in the wild and aligns it with the prompt from the Gorilla user.

@adam_ramirez1 Hey, good Q! Currently, the tool runs a refinement process after you insert the prompt. It will try to understand the following to improve the query/research:

- Niche & who posts it
- Life moment (Targets the life stage or occasion that creates urgency.)
- What they'd actually post
- Habit or ritual
