Hey Product Hunt! I'm Efe, a solo developer and the maker of Godot MCP Studio.
I love Godot, and I use AI coding agents every day. But whenever I asked Claude or Cursor to help with a Godot game, it was guessing. It wrote scripts for scenes it couldn't see, invented node paths, and I copied errors back and forth by hand. The AI was smart, it just couldn't touch the editor.
So I built a bridge. Godot MCP Studio is a desktop app plus a Godot addon that gives your AI agent real access to the editor through MCP. It can read the scene tree, add and change nodes, edit scripts, set up animations and tilemaps, run the game, look at errors, and fix them. You stay in control with permission modes: review changes first, or give full control when you trust it. Everything runs on your machine.
It started small, and I kept adding what I needed while building my own games: undo support, project health checks, templates, and Image Studio for generating and editing pixel art that goes straight into your project.
What you get:
- Lite: free, no account, 77 tools
- Pro: 346+ tools, templates, Image Studio, one-time purchase (no subscription)
- Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Cline, Windsurf, Zed and more
I'd love your feedback, especially from Godot devs. What would you want your AI to be able to do in Godot next? I read every comment and I'm on Discord too.
