When I first started gluestack ui, the idea was pretty simple — *empower everyone to build faster*. That’s it. I was frustrated with how much time we spent rewriting the same things for web and mobile, and I wanted a way to break that cycle.
Seeing gluestack ui grow to 70,000+ weekly downloads honestly blows my mind. It means a lot of you out there felt the same pain and believed in the same vision.
Now with gluestack v3, we’ve taken the biggest leap yet. We’ve rebuilt the architecture with a Source-to-Destination system — so instead of juggling multiple setups, you’ve got one source of truth that syncs everywhere. Add Next.js 15 support, Expo SDK 53 compatibility, TypeScript-first tooling… and it finally feels like the library I always wished existed when I was building apps.
For me, v3 isn’t just about features — it’s about giving developers more speed *without* losing control of their code. That balance has always been the heart of gluestack.
I’d love to hear what you think, what you like, and where we can do better. Drop your feedback — we’re building this with you, not just for you. 🚀

Great work, especially with the accessibility & typescript improvements. Gluestack is my go-to UI framework these days for creating beautiful, fast and maintainable apps.
