The world starts covered in fog. You lift it by physically walking through it. Claim landmarks by standing near them for 30 seconds, stamp cities into a travel passport, and watch your exploration percentage climb. Compete on leaderboards, follow community walking routes, and ask Glimps AI where to go next. Every scored step is GPS-verified server-side, so nobody fakes progress from the couch. Share a City Wrapped card of the map you uncovered. 3,800 landmarks, 85 cities. Free on iPhone.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Maker here. This one means a lot to me. Glimps is my first app after stepping away from app development for years, and I honestly wasn't sure I'd ever ship something of my own again. But this idea wouldn't leave me alone: what if the world started covered in fog, and the only way to reveal it was to actually go outside and walk?
So that's Glimps. You lift the fog with your own two feet, claim landmarks by standing near them, collect passport stamps for every city you enter, and share a "City Wrapped" card of the map you personally uncovered. There's an AI city guide that knows your progress and can draft walking routes for you, and everything is GPS-verified server-side, so nobody can fake exploration from the couch. 🚶
Building this reminded me why I fell in love with making apps in the first place. It also got me walking more than I have in years, which feels like the app working on its own maker. 😄
It's free on iPhone, live in 85 cities with 3,800 landmarks. I'd genuinely love to hear which city you'd want to see next, and if you take it for a walk today, tell me what you uncovered. Every bit of feedback means the world to me right now. ❤️
The travel passport with city stamps is my favorite feature. It adds a fun collectible aspect that makes me want to explore more places.
@semih_yavuz_parlak Thanks Semih! 🙌 The confetti when you stamp a new city never gets old. More cities coming soon.
Really love the idea behind this. It feels like a genuine excuse to explore the city and actually notice the landmarks around me. The travel passport feature is a super nice touch. Best of luck to the team, hope it gets tons of active walkers!
@metin_hircin Thanks Metin! That's exactly the feeling I was chasing. The 30-second claim makes you stop and actually look at the place. Hope you enjoy the walks!
