A Christmas miracle: When your friends finally launch their side-project and it looks beautiful and well-crafted. 😍

Hello hello, Producthunters! First of all, massive thanks to @syswarren for hunting Gitscout! 😘 We are super excited to release the first public version of Gitscout today! 🎉 A quick tl;dr: Gitscout is a sexy new tool to help you browse, organize and manage your Github Issues. Download it now and start collaborating more efficiently 😊 We love Github, but working with several repositories/organizations can be a hassle sometimes, constantly having to switch between a dozen tabs on your browser. We've been there, you've been there...we both know exactly how it feels, right? 😉 All your repos and issues in one place, a lot of super nifty features like "saved issues" which allows you to create a custom list of issues and organize you workday, drafts, notifications, a super efficient search experience, and much more! All of this packaged in a beautiful UI. It's free, it's fast, it's beautiful and you can download the latest version right on gitscout.com 😁 One last thing. Our mission is to help you being more productive and to bring you the best experience so we count on you to open a lot of issues and our dedicated repository (https://github.com/gitscout/gits...) to share your feeling about Gitscout, report a bug or anything you think we could improve! 🙏 We'd also like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped us during the private beta, we love you guys, keep feedback-ing! ❤️ Till then, happy holidays y'all. 🤘

@jeremybenaim Do you mind sharing more how you built it? Is it a Electron type app or all native? It looks amazing! Would love to hear more about it.
Jeremy Benaim
@bluetidepro absolutely, I'm actually glad you asked 😄 Gitscout is a React/Redux app packaged in Electron (Github FTW!) which talks to a nodeJS backend (for the "saved issues" persistence, for example) and I think that's pretty much it 🙂 @lefebvremichael would be glad to give you more details if needed!
Jad Bitar
Congrats! Really like the looks, very nice job! Does it support "pull requests"? Any plans to support GitLab and/or Bitbucket?
Jeremy Benaim
Thanks @jadb, glad you like it! 😊 "Pull requests support" is actually #1 on our backlog. We already started to work on how to improve the flow of PRs and make them look nice, and hopefully will ship a version with PRs support in a few weeks 😉 As for GitLab and/or Bitbucket, definitely, but we first want to make everything right with Github, then we could definitely open it to other platforms! 🙂
Nils Hoenson
Looks awesome! I've been looking for a nice way to track Github issues for a while and this is seems like a nice tool.
Jeremy Benaim
@nilshoenson thanks Nils! Hope you will love using it as much as we love building it! 😊
Margaret McGraw
Mac users are so happy right now 😃
Jeremy Benaim
@love2golf we definitely hope they are! ☺️
Dee
Will this be getting github projects support?
Jeremy Benaim
@deekor that's definitely something we might eventually support, for sure 🙂
Julian Lloyd
@jeremybenaim @deekor +1 That was my first thought too... introducing the swim lanes of GitHub projects would be killer. Great work team!
