Ayy, I am so excited to share this with you! π
Meet LabelSync! It's a tool I built to help you manage labels in your GitHub account and organisations. It packs some fantastic features that I found most widely requested in label organisation:
π a centralised configuration for all repositories,
π€ overview of changes in pull requests,
π‘ instant feedback on configuration changes,
π’ label workflows and group label renaming,
π§βπ» declarative configuration using YAML and TypeScript,
β¨ and more
I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed building it. Don't hesitate to ask any questions! β€οΈ
This looks great! I used to use a command-line tool for this sort of thing ages ago, but abandoned it due to a poor user experience.
Also, website looks great. π
Looks cool. Ran into challenges using it. Doesn't tell me why it can't recognize the yaml format. I checked all the yaml linters and it all passes. Don't know where to look next. Ideas?
@nj_gehani there was a bug in the template. When referencing a value in YAML, there should be "*" instead of "&". You can only use "&" to create a referable value.
Don't hesitate to reach out on Twitter (I'll follow back so we can chat), or shoot an email at support@label-sync.com and I'll help you out.
