Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Boris, a product designer. My day job is mostly complex SaaS for finance and telco. Gita Connects is something quite different that I've been building in the evenings.
Why I made it: I've been reading the Bhagavad Gita slowly, and what I kept losing wasn't any single verse. It was the threads between them. Arjuna asks a question and Krishna answers it chapters later, or an idea from chapter 2 comes back deeper in chapter 18. On the page those threads are invisible, so I mapped them.
What it does
All 701 verses, each with a short reading, theme and key concepts
1,057 curated links in 10 colour-coded types (thematic, question–answer, progression, contrast…). Each has a strength from 1 to 10 and a one-line reason
Draw your own links and link types, and keep notes. Everything autosaves
A live panel, "What your network says", names the shared ideas, the verse holding your map together and where to read next
Export to PNG or PDF for study groups. It works by touch on phones
A few honest notes. The translation and purport are Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gītā As It Is. The connections are my own curation: a reading, not the last word. It's free, with no account needed (sign in only if you want to sync devices), no cookies, and no ad pixels.
The feedback I'd love:
Which connections feel missing or wrong? Verse numbers are perfect.
Is it clear where to start if you've never read the Gita?
Are ten link types too many?
Thank you for taking a look. I'll be here all day answering questions.
