Hey everyone 👋
I'm Ashish, founder of GetVidya.
When I was looking at the competitive exam prep space in India—where over 50 million students are grinding for exams like SSC CGL and UPSC—I noticed a glaring issue with how we test them.
The biggest apps out there charge anywhere from ₹500 to ₹2,000 a month, but they give every single student the exact same sequence of mock tests. If a student is already crushing Logical Reasoning with an 85% score, the app will still force-feed them basic reasoning questions. For an aspirant, that wasted time translates to lost ranks.
I built GetVidyaAI to fix this. It’s an adaptive study engine that actually adjusts to the student.
Here is how it works under the hood:
You start with a quick 25-question diagnostic test to set a baseline.
The system analyzes your accuracy, but it drills down to the specific micro-topics you are struggling with, rather than just broad sections.
Every practice session after that is custom-built on the fly to target your specific weak spots.
Once you prove you know a topic (hitting 70%+ accuracy three times in a row), the system automatically bumps up the difficulty.
The goal is simple: stop making students practice what they already know, and help them spend 100% of their time closing the actual gaps that cost them marks.
We’ve launched with 240+ SSC CGL mock tests. Because our core users are often in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, we've priced it at just ₹79/month to keep it genuinely accessible. (Your first diagnostic test is totally free, by the way).
I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback. I'll be hanging out in the comments all day—happy to chat about building edtech for Bharat, how the adaptive logic works, or how we manage to keep our pricing so low. AMA! 🙏
