AI-driven autism support tools designed to build real independence in children and young adults. Visual routines guide children and young adults step by step through their day using AI-generated images that show them and their real world. Each step is narrated by their parent or caregiver's cloned AI voice. The Independence Planner sequences routines, social stories, and rewards into a full day they own and work through on their own. Built by a dad for his non-verbal son.

Hey everyone, I'm Sean, solo founder of Gentle Journeys.
My son Carson is 13, level 3 autism, and non-verbal. He understands everything happening around him, he just can't tell you about it the way you'd expect.
For years we used the standard playbook: laminated cards, velcro strips, clip art stick figures. The methods behind them are proven and evidence-based. But the tools delivering them haven't evolved in 30 years.
I've been in product my whole career but hadn't developed anything myself previously. But nothing out there worked for Carson, so I taught myself and built the thing I wished existed when he was 5.
Gentle Journeys takes the proven methods that already work, social stories, visual schedules, token boards, structured routines and makes them deeply personal. Your child sees themselves in every experience using AI images of them. The voice guiding them can be their parent's own voice using AI voice cloning.
And the Independence Planner sequences everything into a full day they own and work through on their own. The first app where it's built specifically for them to own and use entirely on their own.
Watch the video in the gallery. That's Carson making his own lunch without any help. Most people take that for granted. For us, that's independence. That's the whole product in 90 seconds.
No funding, no marketing budget. Just a dad solving a real problem that felt called to help thousands of other children and young adults. Would love for you to try it and tell me what you think.
