Hi Product Hunt, I'm ichi, a solo developer in Japan.
I built genko.me because writing my own blog in a CMS admin screen felt like filling out a form. I wanted the writing screen to be somewhere I could draft, reread and revise comfortably.
Try the editor without an account: https://genko.me/en/try. Demo drafts are saved on your device.
It handles text, code, tables, images and embeds, then delivers content to your site through REST or a typed TypeScript SDK. There are components for React/Next.js, Vue, Svelte and Astro. The official Astro package includes native components and a draft-preview helper.
Each entry can have versions in several languages, each with its own publishing state (Free includes one extra language; Plus and Pro have no limit). The MCP server works with Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and other MCP clients that support OAuth. It can draft, schedule and publish, upload/list media, update alt text and delete unused media. Edits to a published entry stay unpublished until you publish them. Cookieless page views help you see which pages and entries are read.
You still build your frontend; translations aren't automatic, and Astro previews need server rendering. I'm building and supporting the hosted service alone.
It's free for up to 3 members. I'd appreciate feedback on where the writing flow gets in your way.
