Seeing a red pie chart doesn't stop anyone from ordering Uber Eats at 11 PM. I realized I didn't need another boring dashboard... I needed something that actually made me feel bad about my terrible financial choices. So, I built gCompté. It’s an iOS expense tracker with absolutely zero empathy. Here is why it's different: 🗑️ The "Useless" Tag: Mark an impulse buy as "useless", and the app will calculate the exact total amount of money you literally threw out the window this month. It hurts to look at. ✍️ The pain of manual entry: There is no automatic bank sync. You have to manually type in your 4th Starbucks of the week. Trust me, it hurts more, and it makes you think twice. 🔒 100% Privacy: Everything stays on your device and your personal iCloud. 🌶️ The Roasts: The app actively judges you and sends you sarcastic notifications based on what you buy.
