Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Andres, co-founder of GameFlow.
My first game as a developer was Sirocco, a MOBA that launched on Steam. After years of development, its servers shut down in August 2025 before it left Early Access. Infrastructure costs and long timelines were a big part of why it ran out of runway. Watching a game I worked on die that way stuck with me.
Most multiplayer games, especially competitive ones, need servers, matchmaking, and skill rating. Building that yourself takes months and specialized engineers most studios don’t have. I’ve also worked in infrastructure for large games, and even there it’s a huge effort. For a small studio, it eats the time that should go into gameplay.
When we started GameFlow, our goal was simple:
To get a studio’s first game server live in minutes, affordably, and we did that for every studio that worked with us. The key was focusing only on the hard infrastructure multiplayer games need (hosting, matchmaking, and skill rating) and integrating with existing game backends for everything else, instead of rebuilding what already exists.
Now it’s open to everyone. You can start hosting game servers today on the Builder plan, which includes usage credits, and during Early Access, matchmaking and skill rating are free.
GameFlow is fully bootstrapped and built by a small team, so launching here means a lot to us. We hope you enjoy it!
