I'm a manufacturing engineer, not a self-help guy. But after years of failing at habit change with willpower alone, I built Future You for myself. The mechanism is simple: you set your own rules, pick habits you want to change, set a real cost for each slip. Money moves into a "locked" vault until a date you choose. Consistency earns it back. The money isn't the point. It's what makes invisible habits visible enough to actually change. Waitlist open.

Hi everyone — G here.
I built Future You because I got tired of failing at habit change with the standard habit trackers, meditation apps, screen time limits, deleting apps, I ran through all of it.
As an engineer I like patterns and I kept noticing that my habits weren't really habits, I was just trying to escape from small discomforts I didn't want to sit with. And no app I tried made those escape hatches feel like a choice. They were invisible until they'd already happened.
Future You attaches a real dollar cost to each habit slip. Money moves into a "locked" vault until a date you set. The money isn't the point — it's what makes the pattern visible enough that you can actually see the trigger.
I'm a manufacturing engineer by trade, not a self-help person. This is my first product outside of manufacturing systems. Would love to hear from anyone who's built or used behavior change tools — what worked, what didn't, and what you'd want in the version you'd actually us.
