We know that fine-tuning reliably reduces hallucinations in tool use. It also improves application speed and lowers costs. Yet when it comes to data creation, we’re still stuck in the past. Building a robust dataset is a slow, manual process that can take weeks and stall development velocity. That’s why we built RoryPlans.dev, a synthetic data generation tool for function calling. It turns the process we developed for our own product into a tool for teams: enabling them to collaboratively generate, review, and manage datasets for function calling to build more reliable, faster AI agents.
