Hi, guys! I am FSNotes author. In the summer we released a big update for macOS, now it's time for iOS. Ready to answer all your questions.

@fsnotesapp I've been a long time fan of the app, I was super excited when I saw there was a big update! Well done my friend!

I find the pricing listed on the website a bit confusing, isn't the iOS app paid only? Correct me if I am wrong :/
Oleksandr Hlushchenko
@choudhary of course paid, but you can build the application from source for free.
Harshit Choudhary
@fsnotesapp sure, but what's the point? iOS is not similar to MacOS. You can't sideload as easily as you do on Mac or Android :( So, I'm wondering why you didn't go with a free version with iAPs for donations.
Oleksandr Hlushchenko
@choudhary what point in what? Open source? This is a guarantee that the project will be able to develop without me in the future. This is a guarantee that there are no bookmarks, etc.
Harshit Choudhary
@fsnotesapp I understand the open source aspect, but I believe the pricing section could be written more clearly; a cursory read gives the impression that it is free on both Mac and iOS. A good example would be https://apps.ankiweb.net/
