Hi Product Hunt 👋 A year ago I started learning guitar. I'd learn a song, feel good about it, then pick up the guitar a few days later with no idea what the chords were. I'd have to track down the YouTube link or Ultimate Guitar link to relearn it, and get frustrated. When I went looking for help, every app felt built for people who already play. Endless versions of each song, dense sheets, ads to scroll past, and the chords for my favorite songs were full of barre shapes I couldn't do yet. Nothing met me where I actually was, at the beginning. Turns out that gap is why most people quit. 90% of beginners stop within a year, most inside the first 90 days (from a Fender survey). Not because it's too hard. Because it stops being fun. You lose the songs you loved, momentum dies, and the guitar goes back in the corner. Fret Not is the thing I wanted. Save a song once with its chords, capo, strumming, and tuning, link it to Spotify so you can play along, and add your reference links so you can jump back into learning it. Pull it up weeks later and just play. Fret Not launched in December 2025, but I'm just now launching Fret Not Pro. With Pro, you don't need to know the chords already. Add a song from Spotify and Pro comes back with the chords at your level.
