Fragile is a quick-capture memo app for iPhone and Mac. Give each memo a lifespan and it tidies itself into Trash. Text, links, images and voice memos. Free to start with most features included, no login. Siri, widgets, 12 languages.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm the maker of Fragile 👋
I built Fragile because my notes apps kept turning into graveyards. Quick thoughts, links and to-dos piled up, I never cleaned them out, and the useful ones got buried.
So every memo in Fragile gets a lifespan the moment you write it: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, or none. When time runs out, the memo moves to Trash, where you can restore it for 30 days. Nothing disappears without a safety net.
What you can do with it:
• Capture four kinds of memos: text (with Markdown, checklists, tables and calc blocks), links (saved with title and thumbnail), images (with captions, plus crop and rotate), and voice memos (with automatic transcription, and you can cut out the parts you don't need).
• Get a reminder shortly before a memo expires, and extend it or delete it right from the notification without opening the app.
• Group memos with tags. Memos that share a tag read like a single note page.
• Find things with natural-language search, like "the hospital memo from last week".
• Summarize and translate a memo on your device with Apple Intelligence. Your memo content doesn't leave your phone.
• Save from the Share button in Safari and other apps, use home screen widgets, and add or search memos with Siri and Shortcuts.
• Lock the app with Face ID, and optionally sync through your own iCloud.
Fragile is free to start, and most features work in the free plan. There's no login or account. An optional Pro plan adds iCloud sync and lifts a few limits for heavy users, and I never lock or delete anything you've already saved.
It works on iPhone and Mac (iOS 26 / macOS 26 or later) and supports 12 languages.
I'd love to hear whether an expiry date on your notes feels useful or stressful, and which lifespans you'd want besides the presets. Thanks for taking a look, and I'll be here all day answering questions!
