Hi! I'm Jo, solo maker. Fotelya started as a gift for my brother's wedding: guests scan a QR code and their photos land on a live wall at the party. No app, no account, EU-hosted. We launch here on Thursday.
Before that, I would love your honest take: what annoyed you the last time you had to collect photos from a group (wedding, birthday, team event)? What would make it effortless? I'll read and answer everything.
Love how simple the QR flow is, real winner for weddings and corporate events. One thing I'd love to see is a quick moderation queue before shots pop up on the live wall, so the host can quickly blur out any bathroom selfies before grandma sees them.
@sebahat45760404 Good news Sebahattin: that queue already exists! Every photo goes through automatic moderation before it reaches the live wall, the host picks the strictness per event (off, standard or strict), and can remove any photo from the wall in one tap. Thank you for the kind words!
honestly the no app no signup thing is what sold me, guests just scanned and dropped their photos into the same album right away. ran it at a birthday and the live wall on the tv was a hit
@sametaybarpe4o Thank you Samet, this genuinely made my day! The birthday live wall on the TV is exactly the scene this was built for. If anything felt clunky or missing while you ran it, I really want to hear it, that kind of feedback shapes what gets built next. Enjoy the memories!
The no-app, no-account QR flow is such a smart call, removes the usual friction that kills guest participation. Really clean execution on the privacy side too.
@azat3yws Thank you Azat! Friction was the whole enemy: every extra step (app store, account, permissions) loses the least tech-comfortable half of the guest list, and they often take the best photos. Privacy took the most work to keep invisible, so it means a lot that it shows. Appreciate you taking a look!
