Forgettable: Forgettable reminds you to check the doors, the oven

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Petr, a product designer.

You know the feeling: you're on the bus and suddenly — did I turn off the stove? Did I lock the door? You can't check, so the doubt follows you all day.

I built Forgettable because a reminder only works if it comes by itself. If you have to remember to open a reminder app, you've already forgotten. So Forgettable reacts to what happens around you:

• leaving or arriving home (the phone watches a small circle around the place — your route is never tracked)

• joining or leaving your home Wi-Fi

• a time you choose, once or every day

When it asks "Leaving Home? Did you check the stove?", you tick it off — with a timestamp and an optional photo — so later you actually know. Households can share one list, so nobody has to ask "did you lock it?".

It's free, with no ads and no tracking. Right now it's in an Android test before the Google Play release:
