How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

Astra has helped me raise the ambition of what I can tackle as a solo developer. ForgePlay already had macOS Game Mode integration and separately implemented frame generation; my next goal was to improve how the Wine runtime, graphics presentation, and native macOS behavior work together.
Using Astra through Codex helps me investigate those interactions and iterate on implementation. That gives me more room to pursue deeper compatibility and performance work, alongside practical features such as AWDL controls and macOS shortcut blocking.
My ambition is not simply to launch Windows games, but to improve the whole gaming session on Apple Silicon. I set the architecture and priorities and validate changes in real games; Astra helps me carry that engineering work across more of the system.
