ForceDep is a CLI tool for analyzing dependencies in Salesforce projects. It helps you see which Apex classes, triggers, LWC components, and other metadata are connected to each other, so you can understand the impact of a change before making it. Run it directly from your terminal, explore dependency relationships, and quickly find what depends on a component or what a component depends on. ForceDep is open source and available on npm.

I built ForceDep because working with Salesforce projects can get complicated pretty quickly. As the number of Apex classes, triggers, LWCs, Flows, and other metadata grows, it can be difficult to understand what depends on what before making a change. I wanted a simple way to explore those dependencies directly from the terminal, so I started building ForceDep. It is open source, and I am hoping to make it useful for other Salesforce developers too. I would love to hear your feedback, ideas, and what dependency problems you run into in your own projects.
