Foldiq: Organize years of photos by their real capture date

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Foldiq because I had about 40,000 photos sitting in a folder called "Camera Uploads" that I'd been meaning to sort out since 2019. Every tool I tried either wanted a monthly subscription, uploaded everything to someone else's cloud, or just moved my files around with no way to see what it was about to do. So I built the one I actually wanted: → It reads the real EXIF capture date, not the file's modified date — that one gets rewritten every time you copy a folder, which is why so many libraries end up "organized" into the wrong year. → Nothing moves until you approve it. You get the full tree of every planned move before a single file is touched. → Undo is verified, not hopeful. It checks each file's hash before restoring and refuses rather than risk your originals. That part took me longer than the entire rest of the app, and I still found a bug in it last week. → Your photos never leave your machine. No account, no cloud, no subscription.
