Focus Terminal: A Mac focus timer where every session is a real flight

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built this because I could never stick with a normal timer. Watching a number count down just reminded me how much time I still had to sit through, and I'd quit halfway. What fixed it for me was giving the time somewhere to go. Same 90 minutes, but now finishing means arriving somewhere instead of just running out. An abandoned session isn't a failure any more, it's a diversion, and that alone made it much easier to get back on. Then I got carried away making it honest. It uses 1,152 real airports and real distances, so the duration you pick genuinely decides how far you can get. A 25-minute task can't put you in another country — it has to earn it. On the price: the other flight-themed focus apps I tried were free until the parts I wanted needed a subscription. I didn't want to build something that had to keep pulling you back in, so it's $2.99 once and that's it. I'd rather you close the laptop and go do the work.
