Many of us have spent countless hours scrolling through outdated job boards, and applying into the void only to get ghosted. Leon and I built this quick prototype to spice up traditional job boards. We want you to spend less time applying to irrelevant jobs and more time doing what you love. I’m Grace and I founded Design Buddies in April 2020 when I was a student. Today, we have 150,000 combined members and helped designers land jobs while having fun. We’ve seen how design job market can feel like a black box, and we hope to help demystify it. Hey everyone! In the last 24 hours, I hacked together this quick ai jobboard prototype called “Pin to Learn. Grace and I are really excited to share it with all of you. After teaching over 1,000 students at UXGO, a lot of early career students ask me "what kind of students get interviews for this role, that role, and if I have a chance at this role, that role" etc Over the years, UXGO built up hundreds of verified tech job offers from our alumni - which are past members who have gotten their dream jobs, so I thought it would be fun to map new job openings with our past alumni data to create insights. We're currently in a hybrid model, half ai/half real alumni edits, but with enough support, we can fully automate it and create the best ux job board that maintains itself with ai Do let us know what you think! This is such an awesome initiative, Grace! The traditional job application process can be really frustrating, and it's great to see you and Leon tackling that head-on. PINing a job URL to access AI insights sounds like a game changer! 🎉 The job market can really feel like a maze, so making it more transparent is huge.
