I built Fluense out of personal need, because traditional, two-sided flashcards aren't suited for learning languages like Chinese, which need transliterations. I wanted a productivity tool for my language journey alongside traditional textbooks and classes, where I can build my vocabulary, synchronise it across all devices, and study systematically. Using AI made it possible to put words back into context and create reading or grammar exercises on the fly. I would be curious to hear about other ideas on how to enhance language learning, what your ideal tools would be, and any tips to reach fluency.
