NAME
Flik
TAGLINE
Find the error. Keep the context.
DESCRIPTION
Investigate logs in your terminal. Stack filters, inspect JSON fields and recover the lines around an error. Open local files or piped streams on macOS and Linux. Explore synthetic demos, then try the workflow on your own logs.

FIRST COMMENT
The error line is often the beginning of an investigation, not the explanation.
Flik keeps the next steps in one terminal workspace: recover surrounding lines, inspect structured fields, stack filters and undo one condition at a time. Two files can have independent views; investigation commands can trace a correlation ID across them.
A practical starting point is `flik app.log`. For a stream, use `docker logs -f demo-api | flik -`. In the log view, `//3,2:error` keeps three lines before each match and two after it.
The site has short demonstrations and downloadable synthetic samples, so the interaction is easy to try before loading your own files. Ready-to-run binaries are available for macOS and Linux.
Try one investigation and share the step where you lost context or had to leave the tool. That is useful feedback for the next iteration.
