Hi Product Hunt, I'm Punn, a solo developer in Bangkok. I built FlashLock for myself: I kept opening TikTok when I meant to study, and the "ignore limit" button in Screen Time never stopped me. Now getting back in costs me a flashcard.
How it works: you pick up to 9 apps and give each a daily budget. When the budget is gone, Screen Time shields the app until midnight. Tap "Earn 2 minutes", answer one of your own cards correctly, and you're back in for 2 minutes. Wrong answers just show the next card; minutes can't be banked. Strict mode makes raising a limit cost 5 correct answers.
Honest limits: iPhone only (iOS 17.4+), deleting the app removes the limits (it's for people keeping a promise to themselves, not a lock someone else holds), no parent mode yet, and it's new (launched October 2026), so reviews are thin.
