I'm Kirk, and I built Firstfile to fix a problem I had for years.
I ran a small web design business (alongside a few other ideas). I was good at building sites and bad at finding people to build them for. I tried cold calling, networking events, Facebook groups and bought lead lists. Most of it went nowhere. The businesses I reached already had a website, or already had someone they used.
Then I noticed something. My best clients were nearly always brand new. One real example: a café owner who'd registered her company three weeks before we met. New businesses need everything at once: a website, an accountant, insurance, a way to take payments. They're actively looking, and whoever reaches them first usually wins.
The hard part was finding them. Companies House lists every new company, but each day's list is mostly noise: shell companies, holding companies and bulk registrations by formation agents. I used to spend Sunday nights scrolling the register and building spreadsheets by hand. It was slow, and half the companies I found weren't real businesses at all.
Firstfile.co.uk does that job every night. It reads every new company and strikes out the noise. Then it checks what's left against other public registers, which show what a business is about to do: a vehicle operator licence means it's running vans, a food premises awaiting inspection means a café is about to open, a CQC registration means it's starting to provide care. More sources are on the way.
Each company is scored for your trade, and AI models research it and suggest how to open the conversation. Your leads are ready by 7am.
It's built for web designers like I was, and for accountants, insurance brokers, payroll providers, card payment providers and van leasing firms. More professions are coming.

Does FirstFile works for UK only?
@adana Yes the system is only for UK based businesses for now, however we have plans to expand this to several other countries.
