Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Fintech Database because I kept noticing the same problem: Europe has an incredible fintech ecosystem, but discovering relevant companies is still surprisingly fragmented. There are lists, news articles, reports, and investor databases, but I wanted something simpler and more practical: a curated, searchable database where you can quickly browse European fintech companies by country, category, service, and business model. The project started as a small directory, but while building it I realised the real value is in structure. Not just “here are some fintechs,” but: what do they do, where are they based, which category do they belong to, and how can someone actually find the right companies faster? Right now the database includes 300+ European fintech companies across categories like payments, open banking, RegTech, lending, crypto, embedded finance, and financial infrastructure. I’d love your feedback on the positioning, filters, categories, and what would make this more useful for founders, operators, investors, and anyone mapping the European fintech space.
