Hey Product Hunt, I built FingerWag because my Messages inbox was getting overrun by spam, political texts, fake toll alerts, surveys, and one-off junk that Apple’s default filtering didn’t catch well enough. FingerWag is a private iPhone text filter. It runs on-device, uses simple rule packs and custom filters, and sends matching texts from unknown senders to Junk. Your message text isn’t uploaded to a server. A few things it can do: - Block political and campaign texts - Filter common spam and scam patterns - Add your own custom phrases - Generate a filter from a spam example - Keep filtering local to your iPhone I’d love feedback from anyone dealing with SMS clutter, especially around which rule packs or filter workflows would make this more useful.
