I'm the solo dev behind FenixKit. I built this because I kept starting every .NET 8 project by rewriting the same foundation — repository pattern, error handling, pagination, Docker setup. FenixKit packages a solution for all of that into a clean, ready starter kit with MongoDB. The core idea is a BaseRepository with 7 overridable hooks — you only touch what your domain actually needs, everything else runs automatically. A few things I'm proud of: 1. ErrorOr result pattern throughout the entire stack — no exceptions for control flow 2. Both offset and cursor-based pagination out of the box 3. RFC 7807 error responses, health checks, full Swagger docs — all wired up Auth is not included by design — requirements vary too much per project. It's on my roadmap for v2. .NET 10 support is now live across all kits

When I launched FenixKit a couple of weeks ago it was .NET 8 only. A few people asked about .NET 10 support almost immediately, which made sense - it just shipped.

All four kits now support both .NET 8 and .NET 10. Same price either way - at checkout you pick the runtime you want and get that ZIP.

Nothing else changed in the kits themselves. If you already bought one and want the .NET 10 version, reach out and I will sort it out.

FenixKit just shipped Redis 8 cache-aside for .NET 8 Minimal API — Valkey 7.2 supported too

FenixKit now ships with Redis 8 cache-aside and Valkey 7.2 support out of the box

Building a cache layer for a .NET API is one of those things that sounds simple until you're debugging stale cache at 11pm.
