Hey hunters — I’m zhiyu, the makers of Fellow.
We kept seeing the same gap: companies already have models, but chat still doesn’t do the work. You get a draft, then someone still has to run tools, hunt files, and assemble something you can actually send.
Fellow is a local-first agent workbench. You describe a task; agents plan, run in a sandbox, and leave reports, slides, and other files in the workspace. Same codebase for Desktop (free, no account, bring your own API key), hosted cloud, and private Docker.
Desktop stays free. If a team needs production Server or a hosted deploy, that’s the commercial path — we didn’t want to bait-and-switch the local app.
Curious what you’d actually hand an agent on day one — a weekly report, a research brief, cleaning a folder of files? What’s the job you’d trust it with, and what would make you not trust it yet?
