Hi Product Hunt! We're the team behind Extry.
Extry turns ChatGPT and DeepSeek conversations into files you can keep, edit and use outside the chat.
Use Markdown for notes, Word for editing, HTML for offline reading, or JSON/JSONL for your own scripts. You can export selected messages or several chats, save available attachments, and download multiple formats together in a ZIP.
The export runs in your browser. The extension has no usage analytics or third-party trackers, and it doesn't upload your conversations to an Extry server. No Extry account is required; sign in to ChatGPT or DeepSeek as usual.
A few details worth knowing:
- PDF opens the browser's print dialog.
- Attachments must still be accessible from the chat service.
- Very large chats can run into browser rendering limits.
- The interface has 14 localizations.
Export is free, with no daily export counter or watermark.
What do you most often need to keep from an AI conversation: a document, code, tables, images or the whole archive? We'd love to hear where your current export workflow breaks.
