Hi Product Hunt, I'm Oğuzhan, an indie developer from Turkey.

I built Expiry Tracker because I kept finding things at the back of my fridge a week too late. Yogurt, cream cheese, half a pack of ham. Every time it felt like throwing money in the bin, and a sticky note on the fridge never worked for long.

Here's how it works. You take a photo of the label and the app reads the expiry date for you. You can also scan a barcode, or just type the name and pick the date. You always check the details before saving, and if a date can't be read, the field stays empty instead of guessing. Then you get a reminder before things go off, at a time of day you choose. There's a shared list too, so everyone at home sees the same items.

The app is free to download and use, with limits on scans and items. Premium unlocks unlimited date and barcode scanning and unlimited products, plus custom reminders per product and extra early reminders, which is also how I keep working on it. It's on iOS and Android, built by one person, so feedback really helps. I'd love to hear:
