Exigia turns any spec (PDF, Word, email) into a living requirements tree, links each one to the deliverable that answers it, and generates a one-click compliance report. AI-assisted, bring-your-own-key, and it never stores your files.

I'm Lauris, solo founder of Exigia.
Every company that answers a spec ā in construction, manufacturing, engineering, software services ā has to prove one thing at delivery: that every single requirement the client asked for got an answer. And almost everyone does it the same way: a spreadsheet that slowly turns into chaos.
I watched three failure modes happen over and over:
⢠The spreadsheet that overflows : 40 columns, five copies floating around by email, nobody knows which version is the source of truth.
⢠The proof you can't find : at the client review, tracking down which report or drawing answers which requirement takes days.
⢠The silent change order : the client tweaks a requirement in an email, the team keeps working on the old version, and the gap surfaces at delivery, at the worst possible cost.
So I built Exigia.
You import a spec (PDF, Word, ODT, pasted text, an email). AI breaks it into a hierarchical requirements tree : and for every requirement it shows you the exact verbatim quote and page it came from, so nothing is a black box. You review and approve each line before it's imported: the AI proposes, you decide.
Then you link each requirement to the deliverable that answers it : a Word calc note, an Excel test plan, a CAD assembly ā by reference. Two clicks right inside Word, Excel or LibreOffice. When a client sends a change order, the AI compares it to your existing tree and proposes add / modify / remove for each change, so you can price and justify every amendment. One click gives you the full compliance file: Excel matrix, Word report, change-order delta, complete history.
Three design choices I care about:
Exigia never stores your documents. It links to them by reference (OneDrive, SharePoint, your DMS/PLM). Your IP and confidentiality stay yours and the risk of a document leak is structurally zero.
Bring your own AI key. Use the free "prompt mode" (paste into any AI you like), or plug in your own Anthropic/OpenAI key, stored encrypted on your instance. No hidden AI costs for you, and none for me either ā which is exactly why the pricing can stay simple.
Every customer gets an isolated, dedicated instance hosted in France.
Pricing is deliberately boring: ā¬39/month per instance, unlimited users, 14-day free trial (no charge before it ends).
It's built for the middle that the big requirements tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jama) price out and that Excel fails ā the 2-to-200-person teams answering demanding specs without a dedicated systems engineer.
I'd genuinely love your feedback ā on the workflow, the AI-review approach, the pricing, anything. I'll be here all day answering every comment.
