Free AI excuse generator: believable, dramatic or absurd

The free AI excuse generator with a sense of humor. Pick a situation and a tone - Believable for real life, Dramatic or Absurd for the group chat and get fresh, ready-to-send wording in seconds. Plus free email, reply, grammar and sick-leave tools. No account, no paywall.

A few things people usually ask, so I'll get ahead of them:
Is it actually free?
Yes. All five tools, no account, no email, no paywall.
Do you store what I generate?
No. Nothing you generate is stored.
Isn't this just encouraging people to lie?
Fair question, and the one I thought about most. Believable is the default tone and it's built for real situations you simply don't have the words for. Dramatic and Absurd are for the group chat, not your boss. The whole thing is framed around saying the true thing well, not inventing emergencies.
What's next?
A late reply writer, a meeting cancellation writer, and cover letter / resignation letter tools are in progress.
the absurd tone for skipping a meeting genuinely made me laugh, and i love that there's no signup or paywall nonsense blocking it
@nurullahhazer Ha, Absurd for skipping a meeting is exactly the use case it was built for. Group chat only though, never the actual calendar invite.
And yeah, the no-signup thing was non-negotiable. If you need an excuse, you need it now, not after a verification email. Thanks for the kind words 🙏
The tone picker is a genuinely clever touch, way more useful than a single generic output. Love that it defaults to no account and no paywall, feels like a tool made by people who actually respect your time.
@bulemomyl Thanks, that's exactly the bet. A single generic output never really fits, because the same situation needs completely different wording depending on who's reading it.
"Respects your time" is a lovely way to put it, and honestly that was the whole reason for skipping the account wall. Appreciate you giving it a look!
Finally, something to save me from another "my dog ate my homework" text. The Dramatic mode is weirdly on point for venting about a Zoom call that ran over.
@elmasjyoo Ha, "venting about a Zoom call that ran over" might be the single most on-brand use of Dramatic mode I've heard today.
It was honestly the hardest tone to tune. Push it too far and it reads as sarcasm; not far enough and it's just Believable with extra adjectives.
The rule I landed on: Dramatic is for the group chat, Believable is for the person who actually approves your day off. Sounds like you found that line straight away.
If you try Absurd, I'd genuinely love to know what it gave you. It's the one that still surprises me.
