Essel is the autonomous AI SEO engine that researches your business, finds high-impact keyword opportunities, writes production-ready content, publishes it to your website, and continuously improves it over time. Unlike AI writing tools, Essel owns the entire SEO workflow from research and content strategy to publishing and optimisation, so founders and small teams can grow organic traffic without hiring an SEO team or managing dozens of tools. Ship your product while Essel ships your SEO.

Shipped a few articles through Essel and the keyword suggestions actually matched what my customers search for, not just high volume noise. The auto publishing saved me from another dreaded CMS login.
Really glad to hear that. Matching keywords to what your customers actually search, not just search volume, is exactly the outcome we built Essel for. And yeah, skipping the CMS login every time you want to publish is a small thing that adds up fast. Appreciate you giving it a shot and sharing this!
I run a small real estate content site on the side and do all the SEO by hand: keyword sheet, internal links, metadata, all of it. I'm curious where Essel finds its keyword opportunities. Is it working off Search Console data from my actual site, or doing its own research? In my experience that distinction matters a lot, since my best queries were ones I never would have guessed. Congrats on launching!
Great question, and you're right that the distinction matters a lot. Essel's keyword research is independent, it's not reading your existing Search Console rankings to decide what to write about. It's out there finding demand and gaps on its own, including what's working for competitors in your space, so you get opportunities you might not have thought to search for yourself.
Where GSC does come in is after publishing: we track your actual clicks and impressions on live articles to see what's performing and what needs a refresh. So today it's independent discovery finding the opportunities, and your own data closing the loop afterward. Would love to hear if that resonates given how much you know about hand-built SEO. Thanks for checking Essel out!
The part that gives me pause is "publishes it to your website" without mentioning a review step. Auto-publishing AI content at scale is exactly the pattern Google has been actively penalizing this past year. Is there a draft/approval gate before anything goes live, or does it push straight to production by default?
Good catch, and that's a fair concern given what's happened in search results this year. By default, nothing auto-publishes: every article lands in a review queue and needs a human to click release before it goes anywhere. Auto-publish exists as an opt-in toggle, both at the
workspace level and per-CMS connection, for teams that have used Essel long enough to trust the output, but it's off by default.
We also run quality and SEO checks on every draft before it hits review, so what you're approving isn't a first-pass output. Appreciate you pushing on this, it's the right question to ask before trusting any tool with your site.
@kunal_yadav that's the right default honestly, and good to hear the quality/SEO checks run before it even reaches the review queue rather than after. makes the opt-in auto-publish toggle feel like earned trust instead of a corner cut to ship faster. appreciate the detailed answer.
The copy on this page is genuinely sharp. That closing line about shipping your product while Essel ships your SEO is the kind of phrasing that actually sticks. Whoever wrote this understands the founder mindset well.
Thank you, that really means a lot. That's the exact tension we built Essel around: founders shouldn't have to trade building time for SEO time. Glad it landed the way we hoped.
