Free advertising built on what you already have: your audience. The vision is a platform where you post your profile, browse matches by audience and niche, agree to a swap, and send through built-in email infrastructure. Any business with subscribers can use it. Zero friction and free always! Right now, I'm matching newsletters and startups by hand. Fill out the form at stackd.tools, I find someone whose audience overlaps yours, confirm with both parties, and I handle everything from there.
The idea is dead simple and it actually works. Email swaps aren't new but nobody has made them this easy to set up. Andreas does all the legwork so you don't have to figure anything out.
What needs improvement
The matching is manual right now so it takes a bit of back and forth. A self-serve version where you can browse and request swaps yourself would be great.
vs Alternatives
Honestly there isn't anything else doing this in a structured way. You could try to find your own swap partners but that takes forever. Having someone match you is the whole point.

Really appreciate this. The self-serve matching is exactly where this is headed, you nailed the one thing that needs to get built. Glad the concept landed.

Hey everyone, Andreas here.
I built Engagement Exchange because I kept seeing the same thing: businesses and newsletters that want to grow their audience but cannot afford ads. The people who need it most are the ones least able to pay for it.
But most of them already have something valuable: an email list. So why not let two people with similar lists agree to promote each other? You each send one email to your subscribers recommending the other. Both lists grow. No money changes hands.
I have already made a few matches, and the first swaps are going live this week.
Long-term, think of it the way you think about Product Hunt. You come here when you want your first users. You would come to Engagement Exchange for the next 500, and the 800 after that. Set up a profile, find a match, and send through built-in email infrastructure. Free every time.
I would love feedback. Reach me directly at arserfilippi@gmail.com.

Curious to see where this goes since manual matching still feels personal but won't scale. Love that the swap model actually respects overlap instead of blasting cold lists.

@hamdiderinwvuu Totally fair call. Manual is intentional for now — it lets me make sure the overlap is actually real before I hit send on anything. The goal is to build the matching logic into the platform itself so it scales without losing that quality filter. Appreciate you following along.

love the no-strings-attached vibe here. filling out the form was painless and hearing back with a real match felt surprisingly personal for something automated. solid first impression.

@erkanaltnbkaas Really glad to hear that. Worth mentioning the matching is actually fully manual right now, which is probably why it felt personal — because it was. That said, the plan is to keep that same feel once it's a proper platform. Appreciate you taking the time to try it out.
