okay real talk, dating apps kind of fell off.
you match with someone who seems fine, and then it hits you… are they real? are they a bot? is that photo from 2017? and if they ARE real, three messages in it becomes "heyy message me on Instagram 🫶" and honestly, no. I did not sign up to get funneled into your close friends story.
then there is the swiping. endless. forever. your thumb doing cardio while you feel absolutely nothing. and half of those profiles have not opened the app since the last ice age 💀
so we built Huddle (you might know us as Ember, same app, new name).
everyone is verified before they even show up, so the person you see is the person you meet. no catfish, no "trust me it is really me" energy. the whole vibe is calm and intentional instead of an endless feed designed to keep you doomscrolling. and if someone stops showing up, they quietly slide down and stop taking up space, so the people you actually come across are the ones who are present and pressing buttons back 👀
