The goal: make it as easy as talking to yourself, but with accurate transcripts you can actually use. Why I built it: - I dictate a lot of notes, ideas, and tasks. - Most tools are either expensive or send everything to remote servers. - I wanted something I’d feel safe using for both personal and work stuff. @schneider_damien Great to see more local-first tools! I've tried a few Whisper-based wrappers before, and found it nicely supported by Echo? Also, +1 for making it open source; that definitely helps build the trust needed for a privacy app.
