Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m excited to launch Dynasight, a DynamoDB cost and performance optimization tool for engineering teams. I built Dynasight because DynamoDB is amazing at scale. But it can also become expensive in ways that are hard to notice early. A table might be overprovisioned, an index might be barely used, a scan-heavy access pattern might be quietly burning your money, or one region/table might be responsible for most of the waste. The problem is that most teams only realize this after the AWS bill arrives. Dynasight helps you catch these issues earlier by analyzing your DynamoDB tables and turning the results into clear and prioritized findings. Instead of generic “your AWS bill increased” alerts, Dynasight focuses on DynamoDB-specific insights like: 👉 Which tables are costing the most 👉 Which tables are overprovisioned 👉 Where inefficient access patterns may exist 👉 Which indexes may be unnecessary or underused 👉 What actions could reduce cost without hurting performance My goal is to make DynamoDB optimization not feel like another dashboard but more like getting a clear and simple checklist of items that concretely lower costs. One thing that would make this way more useful for me would be a monthly savings report I can forward to my manager showing exactly what we cut and what we still could tighten up.

This looks genuinely useful for teams running DynamoDB at scale. One thing I'd love to see is a Slack or email alert that fires when a table crosses a spend threshold you set, so you find out about a runaway partition or new hot key before the monthly bill shows up.
