You're a founder who just landed in San Francisco: $40,000, an air mattress, and 26 weeks to close a $2M seed round. Meetings are the combat. 15 investor types, each with its own encounter - the AI Doomer Fund asks your p(doom) before your name, the Family Office won't invest on a first meeting, and an anonymous frog with $8M sends voice notes at 3am. Roll d20 against Charisma, Tech, Hustle and Vision. Six endings. Free, no signup, one HTML file.
Hey Product Hunt π
I built this in a weekend because I thought the joke was worth making, and then it got away from me.
The premise: you're a founder who just moved to SF with $40k and 26 weeks to raise $2M. VC meetings are the combat encounters. Term sheets are the loot. A d20 decides whether your live demo works.
The part I care about most is that every investor fights differently. It's not one meeting template with different names on it:
π€ The Chaotic Venture Comedian does venture between sets at a comedy club. Smallest check in the game ($15k) β and at his table a natural 1 HELPS you, because disaster is material.
πΈ The Anon has no meeting. There's a Telegram thread, a cartoon frog avatar, $8M of unclear provenance, and voice notes at 3am.
π The Family Office will not invest on a first meeting. Ever. Ninety minutes about a boat β that IS the meeting.
π The Growth Fund "tourist" asks who else is in your space, then leads your competitor's round two weeks later using your own market map.
The mechanic I'm proudest of: the money isn't real when you shake hands. Corporates pay late, crypto funds evaporate, and the Sovereign Fund's $1M dies three weeks later on a 400-page diligence pack. Several founders have told me this was the part that felt too accurate.
1,000+ founders and investors have played it. The Comedian was suggested by a player and shipped the same day β that's how this works now.
It's free, there's no signup, it's one HTML file, and a run takes about 20 minutes.
So: which investor archetype did I miss? Genuinely asking β the weirdest one in the comments gets built this week π²

Looks sick! Will give it a try.
Quick feedback - the font size is really small on my Macbook (13''). Maybe I'm getting old, but I just cannot read the screen without zooming in.
@stephnassΒ On it :)
Encountering a rogue venture comedian will prepare you for fundraising more than any accelerator ever could.
