I built DueCRM because I kept seeing how easily sales opportunities can slip through the cracks when a CRM becomes too complicated. A lot of CRMs make you fill out dozens of fields, manage spreadsheets, update pipelines, and do a bunch of stuff that has little to do with the thing you actually need to do: follow up with people. So I wanted to build something much simpler, around one question: Who do I need to follow up with today? That’s basically what DueCRM is about. It gives solo founders and mobile sales reps a focused dashboard, a simple morning digest, and things like voice notes so you can quickly log a call without typing everything out. The goal isn’t to build another CRM packed with every possible feature. I just want DueCRM to help you remember the right people, follow up on time, and keep your deals moving without all the usual CRM overhead.

you call it a CRM. But taking out every pipeline field leaves you with a very confident reminder app. Plus at some point simplifying is not streamlined, it just becomes an agressive inbox snooze

@konstantin_tikhaev You are raising a very fair point and that boundary is something I think about constantly. There is a very thin line between a streamlined CRM and just a confident reminder app. The big differentiator for DueCRM is customer history and context. A reminder app just tells you to call someone. DueCRM shows you the entire timeline of your relationship, including past conversations and those quick voice logs, right when you need to make the next move. It is about the context of the relationship, not just the task. Your warning about aggressive inbox snoozing is spot on too. If people just keep pushing deals to tomorrow, the system breaks. To fix this, we are looking into putting limits on how many times a deal can be snoozed before the app forces you to either archiving it or log a real reason. The goal is zero friction, but not at the cost of breaking the sales discipline. Thanks for pushing back on this, it is super helpful feedback.

@duecrm context makes good "address book". CRM tracks deal velocity, stage progession across accounts. without this you manage contacts, not sales

@konstantin_tikhaev I completely see where you are coming from. For enterprise sales or traditional B2B setups, tracking pipeline velocity and stage metrics is absolutely essential. But for solo founders, creators, and freelancers, sales do not always move through a rigid five step corporate funnel. For them, sales are simply a series of ongoing conversations and timely follow ups. The moment they are forced to manage stages and move cards around a massive Kanban board, they stop using the tool entirely. DueCRM is intentionally built for that specific group. It tracks sales by keeping you honest about your care scores and ensuring no lead gets cold, which is a different way of looking at sales progression. It might feel closer to a highly actionable address book for a big sales team, but for a creator closing deals on the go, it is exactly the lightweight sales engine they need.

@duecrm The point is this. Tracking conversations and folow-up dates is just contact management with alerts. And it is not customer relationship management )
