The receiver doesn’t need to install anything — they can just open a browser and start sharing instantly.
I wanted to remove the friction of “please install this app first” and make file sharing feel as simple as sending a message.

That’s actually one of the scenarios I built DropShare for — quickly sending documents between devices without needing setup or accounts.
It works especially well when you just want to open a browser and transfer instantly.

I would give it a try if it was for iOS devices too, that's the big minus that it doesn't support apple devices
@xion3 Totally fair point.
Right now DropShare focuses on Android + browser-based access,
so iOS users can still receive files through the browser without installing anything.
Full iOS support is definitely something I’m exploring,
but I wanted to first make cross-device sharing as simple as possible with minimal setup.
