DropReady Media is a Mac app that helps you convert iPhone photos and videos into upload-friendly formats and sizes. Drop HEIC photos or large videos, choose the sharing size, and export files that are easier to upload to SaaS tools, forms, chats, and web services. Everything is processed locally on your Mac.

Finally something that handles HEIC without making me jump through hoops, basically just drag and drop and it spits out files I can actually upload anywhere. The local processing is a nice touch since I don't really want my photos leaving my laptop.
@zlemncel104573 Thank you! Keeping the workflow simple and processing everything locally were two of my main goals, so I’m glad that came through.
would love a quick way to batch rename exports by date or original album name, since I usually dump a whole folder in and end up with a mess of generic files to sort through later
@bsecade91749 Thanks for the suggestion! Batch renaming by date or a custom prefix would be especially useful for larger folders. I’ve added it to the feature list.
honestly this looks super handy for dealing with all those HEIC files macs spit out. one thing i'd love to see is a right click option in finder so i can just select a bunch of photos and hit "convert with dropready" without having to open the app first. would save a bunch of time when i'm uploading stuff to work tools.
@emreboyvatexph That would be a great workflow improvement. A Finder Quick Action is something I’m considering for a future update. Thanks for the suggestion!
Super useful for getting around the HEIC headache on forms that wont accept them. One thing that would make it even better: bulk renaming the exported files with a custom prefix or date stamp before they go out, so when I drop a batch into a client folder it is already organized instead of me renaming 40 things by hand afterwards.
@emircanayvtyyi Thanks! A custom prefix or date stamp makes a lot of sense for batch exports. I’ve added this to the feature list.
Handy little utility, dropped a pile of HEIC shots in and they came out ready to upload without thinking about sizes. Love that nothing leaves the Mac.
@altmelis74860 Thank you so much, Melis! I really appreciate it.
Finally a no-fuss way to get HEIC files into forms that actually accept them. Local processing is a nice touch, basically just drag drop and done.
@alicioglu16119 Thank you! Simple, local, drag-and-drop conversion is exactly what I wanted DropReady Media to provide.
