Hi everyone,
I'm a packaging designer at a print shop in Vietnam. Clients often can't picture the finished box from a flat PDF, and mockup sites look nice but don't give me a die I can actually print.
So I built Drint: you pick a structure (or a FEFCO / ECMA code), type the size, design right on the die, and the 3D box folds as you go. When it's approved, you export a CMYK PDF with cut and crease lines the print shop can use as-is.
It's free to start. I'd love feedback from anyone who designs or prints packaging: what's the one thing that slows you down most?
the flat pdf to finished box gap is real
having the mockup fold while u move the artwork should make it easier to catch text landing on a crease before anything goes to print
