DraftYourApp helps teams build visual interfaces around supported API operations and existing MCP tools. Inspect the source, review inputs, explicitly test tools and shape a focused user task. Local preview, remote testing and publication remain separate steps.

Hi everyone! 👋
I'm the creator of DraftYourApp, a visual builder designed to help turn existing APIs and MCP servers into practical, task-oriented experiences for ChatGPT users.
The idea behind DraftYourApp is simple: instead of exposing a collection of tools and expecting users to figure out what to do with them, you can build a specific task or workflow around those tools.
A key part of the approach is understanding what you're connecting before trying anything:
Review the API or MCP contract.
Understand the required permissions.
Inspect the inputs and parameters expected by each operation.
Only then decide whether and how to test an operation.
It's important to distinguish between inspecting tools and executing them. Discovering a tool or reviewing its schema does not execute it. Remote tests, however, can trigger real operations and have actual side effects, so they need to be treated carefully.
I'm currently looking for feedback from developers and MCP builders:
If you could turn your existing API or MCP server into one specific task or workflow for ChatGPT users, what would you want people to be able to do first?
I'd love to hear about the tools you're building and the workflows you'd like to create.
One clarification: DraftYourApp is an independent project, not an OpenAI-approved integration, and this post is not presenting customer results or case studies.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
