Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Draftroom because I kept losing my own ideas — a line on the train, a character in the shower, a scene that showed up mid-meeting — scattered across Notes, random docs, and screenshots I never reopened. None of them ever became anything, because I never went back to look. The first version was just a capture box. But I kept finding that the same problem showed up on the other side too: once I did want to sit down and actually write, everything else — templates, formatting menus, a dozen other features — got in the way. So Draftroom ended up being two things instead of one: Glimpse, for catching fragments fast, and Write, a quiet, distraction-free page for when you're ready to turn them into something. The part I'm most proud of, and honestly the reason I finally felt ready to launch: you don't need an account to try any of it. There's a live sandbox right now with one scratch document — write in it immediately, and if you like it enough to sign up, that draft carries straight into your new account instead of disappearing.
