Hey Product Hunt π
I built Draftroom because I kept losing my own ideas β a line on the train, a character in the shower, a scene that showed up mid-meeting β scattered across Notes, random docs, and screenshots I never reopened. None of them ever became anything, because I never went back to look.
The first version was just a capture box. But I kept finding that the same problem showed up on the other side too: once I did want to sit down and actually write, everything else β templates, formatting menus, a dozen other features β got in the way. So Draftroom ended up being two things instead of one: Glimpse, for catching fragments fast, and Write, a quiet, distraction-free page for when you're ready to turn them into something.
The part I'm most proud of, and honestly the reason I finally felt ready to launch: you don't need an account to try any of it. There's a live sandbox right now with one scratch document β write in it immediately, and if you like it enough to sign up, that draft carries straight into your new account instead of disappearing.
It's free and still early. I'd genuinely love to know what's useful, what's annoying, and what's missing β that feedback is the whole reason I'm here today. Thanks for taking a look π
