DraftCareer is a resume and cover letter builder that doesn't stop at the PDF. Search real jobs across 22 countries, tailor your resume and cover letter to a listing with one click, and apply — all from one profile. 46 templates, built around real roles — clean ATS-safe single-column designs, and bold two-column layouts for a human reviewer. AI writing-assist helps you draft summaries, bullet points, and cover letters, but always leaves you to review and edit. Free to start. No watermark, ever.
Hey PH! 👋
I built DraftCareer after retyping the same resume for the fifth application in a row — a different template, a different format, the same information, over and over. That was the first problem.
The second one showed up right after: finding the right job in the first place was its own mess. A different site for every region, no way to tell which listing actually matched what I'd already written.
So DraftCareer grew from "help me build one resume" into putting resume-building, tailoring, and the actual job search under one roof — search real listings across 22 countries, tailor a resume and cover letter to a specific one with one click, and apply.
The other thing I cared about: most resume tools ship one generic template reskinned a dozen times. A warehouse operations manager and a VP of marketing shouldn't end up with the same-looking resume just because they used the same app — so all 46 templates here are built around real roles, not a placeholder.
Free to start, no watermark, ever. Would genuinely love your feedback — first few days especially, I'll be here answering everything.

Hey everyone 👋
I built DraftCareer because I was going through my own job search and got tired of the process.
For résumés and cover letters — I kept asking an AI chatbot for a draft, then spending an hour manually reformatting and editing it every time I applied somewhere. I wanted to build my profile once and generate a properly formatted résumé or cover letter in a couple of clicks, tailored to whatever I was applying to.
The job search side came from the same frustration. I wanted hybrid roles anywhere in Germany, but only within a certain commute radius from home — I have family where I live and wasn't looking to relocate. StepStone got closest, but not every job is listed there, and no single platform had the filters I actually needed. I ended up checking 2-3 boards and manually cross-referencing everything in a spreadsheet.
So the job search in DraftCareer keeps the usual filters you'd expect, plus radius-based hybrid search across the whole country — which I couldn't find anywhere else.
Would love to hear what you think, and happy to answer any questions!
